As our name suggests, BAR109 is located at 109 Lockhart Road, and can be found in the heart of Wanchai's famous bar district. BAR109 is close to other well known pubs, and opposite of Queen Victoria. Located in a building of historical significance, BAR109 has managed to retain the character of the brickwork panelling, now framed in a modern setting. Opened in the middle of August 2006, BAR109 aims to cater to a broad, mixed group of party people to enjoy a comfortable place to talk, snack, drink, and dance the night away.
BAR109 strives to offer a venue for regular and new guests looking for a place to chill out in an airy ambiance accompanied by superb sound and lighting effects. Upstairs offers a cosy relaxing balcony lounge and comfortable seating for couples and friends, offering great views of the busy crowd below. The ground floor consists of two parts: the front, where you enter, presents our large bar and dance floor; the back, houses a garden patio covered by a marquee, washed by mood lighting.
